Dermoscopy

Dermoscopy is an exam that, in a non-invasive way, can evaluate moles and prevent some types of skin cancer, differentiating benign moles from malignant lesions.

To arrive at the diagnosis of these lesions, a dermoscope is used, a device that allows you to enlarge the image of the skin, providing an in-depth view, facilitating the analysis and documentation of the spots and/or moles, especially when there is a need to monitor the evolution of the clinical picture.

It is a method that allows the evaluation of skin lesions at high magnification with more precision than the clinical examination. In this way, we can make an early diagnosis of a lesion suspected of malignancy and thus be more successful in the treatment.
